For 2011, we are introducing the Metalworks Institute / Sarnia Bayfest Scholarship.

Welcome to Canada's Elite Entertainment Arts School. Our campus, situated outside of Toronto, is the educational creation and natural extension of renowned Metalworks Studios: home to some of the world's most successful artists and producers. We want our students to live their education, on campus and off. At Metalworks, culture, art, business and fun come together. While our programs are intensive, we know that creativity happens through collaboration, social networking and off-campus activity. The educational experience offered here is designed to simulate the real world of entertainment; an industry where working hard and having a good time are equally weighted. At Metalworks Institute, students have the option of studying both full-time diploma programs, as well as certificate courses. We offer one-year diploma programs in Audio Production and Engineering, Show Production and Event Management and Entertainment Business Management. Our two-year programs represent ciricula derived from combinations of our one-year programs; our two-year offerings include Professional Sound, Professional Sound and Business - Live Production Major, and Professional Sound and Business - Studio Production Major. Additionally, this January 2012 we will be launching our brand new Music Performance and Technology program, designed to offer a complete range of industry knowledge to students; allowing them to take their performance art to a professional level. This two-year program is available in five majors: Drums and Percussion, Guitar, Bass, Keyboard and Vocal. Along with our one and two year programs, Metalworks Institute offers certificate courses in Reason, ProTools, Cubase and Logic.

Our unique educational concept unites faculty and students in the acquisition and application of technical, artistic and business knowledge in a real world professional environment. The faculty at Metalworks Institute has been carefully selected for their industry expertise, awards, achievements and teaching skills.
